TINY TEDDY CHOCOLATE BIRTHDAY CAKE

Ingredients

Arnott’s Gluten Free Tiny Teddy biscuits
120g

Gluten-free chocolate cake mix
430g packet
-
Eggs
2

Butter
60g
-
Milk
190ml
-
Extra butter and milk, for icing
-
Sugar
½ cup
-
Water
2 tbsp
-
Gluten-free 100’s and 1000’s sprinkles
1 tbsp
For the cake mix (ingredients may vary depending on product)

Method
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 160⁰C fan-forced. Lightly grease and line a 20cm round cake tin. Prepare the cake mix following packet instructions. Stir 15 Tiny Teddys into the mixture and reserve the rest for decorating. Pour into greased pan. Follow baking instructions.
STEP 2
Line a tray with baking paper and set aside.
STEP 3
To make the toffee, place sugar and water in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer without stirring until it changes to a golden colour. Let bubbles subside and pour onto baking paper. Sprinkle over 100’s & 1000’s. Set aside to cool then break into pieces.
STEP 4
When the cake is cool, top with prepared icing, toffee shards and extra Tiny Teddys. Decorate just before serving.
